Pssst.. Have you heard of The Tea Cosy? Hidden in the back of the Irish Design Shop in The Rocks is our hidden gem: A quaint tea room serving delicious scones baked fresh on premises all day. All our tea is loose leaf and served in pots. Which handmade tea cosy will arrive on yours? Come and join us for an old-fashioned Devonshire Tea in our 180-year-old heritage building. About us -
Formely known as "Tara Tea Room".In the rear courtyard of the Irish Design Shop lies The Rocks' best kept secret, "The Tea Cosy" A traditional tea house, serving home made scones, imported Irish teas and coffees. In our 130 year old heritage listed building.
We specialise in "Devonshire tea" (scones and tea or coffee), and bake all our scones fresh on premises daily. Our scones are light and delicious and available in different flavours. They are served warm with real double thick cream and jams. They are perfect with a cup of Barrys Irish tea, served loose in a pot with a green tea cosy.

The Tea Cosy is located behind the Irish Design Shop at 33 George Street, The Rocks, in the middle of the world famous weekend "Rocks Markets".
