The Quaich or "Cup of Welcome" has become a symbol of trust, honour and loyalty. This Quaich is beautifully presented on a wooden plinth for display. Embossed into the bottom of the Quaich itself you will find the gaelic words "Slainte mhath; Sguab as e" which translates to "Your very good health; polish it off".
