This medium length veil, is also called a "fingertip length". It measures 130cm long x 96cm wide. 

"In 1820 Mrs Grey-Porter and her companion, an accoplished needle-woman, developed, from the material available to them, an exquisite net lace. This lace became known as Carrickmacross Lace - taking its name from the area in which they lived. The design is appliqued to a fine net, using organdie, fine crochet cotton and thread. A distinctive loop edging, pops and filling stitches complete each piece. Carrickmacross Lace is hand sewn and has a subtle quality which defies imitation."
